About Ages of Glory is a part of the Chronicles of Aelia series of free games by Aelia Studios. Played through your web browser, AoG does not require any software downloads or installation, and will not require any kind of monthly fee. AoG is a strategy role-playing game where you control an influential character in one of the ages of war and strife that occurred in the history of Aelia. It is a strategy game in that you may build cities, raise armies, and march into battle. It is a role-playing game in that you control a single character, who can grow and develop, amass a treasury of magical artifacts, and increase in power and prestige. Options are many: you may serve as a loyal magistrate, working to develop the civil infrastructure of a bustling metropolis; you may be a noble general, leading your lord's army into battle for glory and honor; you may even be a mercenary adventurer, engaging in quests, espionage, recon, and rescue missions. Will you be a mighty spellcaster, a valiant warrior, or a stealthy spy? Will you run a bustling trading center, or rule over a military dictatorship with an iron fist? The choices are yours.
